Gary Blackburn biography

I was born and raised in the Terre Haute area.
I graduated from Garfield High School in 1968 and in 1970 I
married my childhood sweetheart Kaye Ann. We presently have 3
daughters and 6 grandchildren; 5 granddaughters and 1
grandson. Jesus became my Lord and Savior in 1979. In 1982 Kaye,
our daughters and I moved to Lynchburg, Virginia to attend Liberty
University. In 1985 we graduated and moved back to the Terre
Haute area to serve as a youth minister in a local church. In
1986 we began to serve as the Senior Pastor in a local Baptist
Church, and in 1989 we planted a new work and presently serve as
the Senior Pastor at Spring Creek Community Church. Currently I
am working on a Master’s degree from Liberty through their
Distance Learning Program. During the course of my life I worked
in the family autobody repair business my dad started in 1960 when
I was 10 years old. In February of 2002, I was able to leave the
business and devote all my time to the ministry here at Spring
Creek.
